1-cent application to be discussed tonight

At their meeting tonight, Oconee library trustees are expected to discuss the progress of their application to be considered for a 1-cent local sales tax for the benefit of library improvements countywide. Danny Day, chairman of the library board of trustees, says the library has yet to make application of the county’s Capital Project Sales Tax Commission, but the application will be discussed during the board’s 5:30 meeting at the Walhalla Main Library.
