19th arrest in 3rd drug sweep

February 12, 2014

Oconee Sheriff Mike Crenshaw said this week there’s a reason for calling his office’s sweep of those who allegedly break the drug laws “Operation Infinity.” That’s because, Crenshaw concedes, the war against illegal drug use is endless. The Sheriff’s Office this week counted a 19th person arrested as part of its third phase of Operation Infinity that dates back to early December. Jimmy Watt, office spokesman, identified the latest person arrested as a 25-year old Greenville man—Courtland Demetrious Brown. His arrest took place around 3:30 a-m Monday
