28-year old man charged in Utica drug case

A man walking across someone else’s backyard in Utica community near Seneca raised the suspicions of an Oconee sheriff’s deputy. The man wound up arrested and charged Wednesday night with manufacturing methamphetamine. The Sheriff’s Office has identified the arrested man as John Daniel Alexander Price, 28-year old resident of Sirrine Street. Narcotics officers and a cleanup crew arrived after deputies said they found a large object inside the sleeve of Price’s jacket which appeared to be a cooking meth lab.
