2nd suspect surrenders in Jeep theft case

A second Oconee County man has been arrested in the investigation of a stolen Jeep last month near Clemson. According to the Sheriff’s Office, larceny charges were placed against John Paul Simmons when the 37-year old West Union resident turned himself over yesterday to officers from the warrants division. Simmons and Joshua Wayne Griffin are now accused of taking a 1991 Jeep Comanche November 24 from the Clemson 4 Wheel Center on highway 123.
