3rd potential foe to a Graham re-election

At State Election headquarters in Columbia, they are bracing for what may be thousands of signatures by petitions. A spokesman this afternoon said, though nothing is confirmed, the election office expects Monday will be the day that former state treasurer Thomas Ravenel will offer signed petitions to qualify him for a place on the November ballot as a challenger to Lindsey Graham, the two-term U-S senator from Oconee County. If Ravenel petitions and is so qualified, he’ll become the third challenger to Graham. The others are Democrat Brad Hutto and Libertarian Victor Kocher.
