A 25-year Walhalla career

Walhalla’s James Moore supervised the cutting down of the city’s Bradford Pear trees, but he’s not going to be around to see Streetscape in its final form. The long time director of Walhalla Public Works, James Moore, is retiring, effective June 30. Moore is considered an institution in Walhalla government. City Administrator Nancy Goehle says Moore joined the city June 5, 1990.
