A Pickens County controversy

December 30, 2013

Philip Bowers hopes as many Pickens County residents as possible will show up at this week’s meeting of the county’s state legislative delegation to register their opposition to expanding the county school board. The delegation welcomes the public for a meeting at 5:30 Thursday evening at the Dacusville Community Center on Earls Bridge Road, Easley. And Bowers, chairman of the Pickens Republican Party, said in a weekend statement, “Please say you are opposed to adding a 7th seat to the school board.”
