A replacement bookmobile

A replacement bookmobile appears to be in the offing for the Oconee Public Library.  According to Phil Cheney, library director, there is to be discussion of replacing the 1997 bookmobile during the library board of trustees meeting this evening in Salem. Cheney gave 96.3/WGOG this statement, “We do not have details yet.  We will discuss with the trustees what changes in service on the bookmobile, if any, they would like to see.  Obviously, there have been a lot of changes since 1997.  We have been gathering other libraries’ Requests for Proposal.  We will be working with Robyn Courtright, Procurement Director, to assemble the RFP.”
