Adams cross-examines Bartee

The second part of the James Bartee testimony is underway in Walhalla. It’s the state’s cross-examination of the defendant by the circuit solicitor, Chrissy Adams. And it began with Adams questioning Bartee about the time when, as a young Secret Service agent, he was suspended after a complaint was filed by a woman who claimed Bartee used a racially derogatory remark. The prosecution claimed Bartee was suspended three days, but he said the suspension was reduced to two on appeal. Bartee denied to Adams that he ever made the remarks in question. The cross-examination started around 12:30 p-m. Court is in recess for lunch until 2:45.
