After hours theft at Goodwill Industries

Four nights of thefts at the Goodwill Donation Center near Seneca have led Oconee sheriff’s officers to file charges against a Walhalla man. Authorities announced the arrest Friday of Daniel Carter Rumer, 40-year old resident of S. Lovingood Avenue, on charges of burglary and larceny. The Sheriff’s Office identified Rumer as its suspect in instances of someone driving up to the donation boxes and removing items after store hours. The crimes are alleged to have occurred between May 13 and May 29.
