Alabama man charged with business burglary near Seneca

Jason Spencer BlytheA 33-year old man has been charged in Oconee County with theft and burglary.  He has been identified as Montgomery, Alabama resident Jason Spencer Blythe (right).  According to the Oconee Sheriff’s Office, the crimes occurred in 2012 at the Verizon Wireless Store near Seneca, but Blythe was officially charged yesterday after a deputy picked him at the Greenville County jail and transported him to Oconee.  On October 13, 2012 a large rock was used to break the glass to a door at the Verizon store. An inventory by management revealed electronic items–including smart phones, tablets and accessories–were taken from the store.  They carried a value of $8 thousand dollars.      Warrants charge Blythe with second degree burglary and grand larceny.
