Aluminum recycling

Walhalla is now accepting aluminum cans to be recycled. City councilwoman Jennifer Crawford says the cans should be bagged separately and placed inside customers’ blue recycling carts. A Jennifer Crawford neighbor will now sit on the Walhalla Board of Zoning Appeals. The city council last night approved the appointment of John Michael Cox, an Oconee County employee, to sit on the board that acts as judges on requests for variances.
