An ‘A thru Z’ on immigration law

Everyone is invited to a meeting at Clemson this month to hear David Dreher speak on changes in immigration law. Dreher’s background includes 25 years in the U-S foreign service and teacher of immigration issues at Clemson’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. The presentation, sponsored by the Clemson Area League of Women Voters, takes place 7:30 Tuesday night, February 17 in the main meeting of the Osher Institute, 100 Thomas Green Boulevard, in Clemson’s Patrick Square. “Immigration is a hot bjutton issue once again, with (President) Obama’s unilateral actions to protect many current immigrants from deportation and Congress’s pushback,” says Holley Ulbrich, co-chair of the local League’s program and action committee. “Many of us in the Clemson League participated in the national League consensus on Immigration a few years ago.” Meeting room doors open at 7 p-m on the 17th and the program starts promptly at 7:30.
