February 11, 2014

A rug maker in Anderson is getting bigger. Anderson County can expect to see 125 new jobs this year with the announcement today that Orian Rugs makes a $13 million expansion of its machine woven rugs facility there. Orian already employs more than 500 people in the Anderson area. Orian started as a family-owned rug company in Anderson and has since acquired three sister companies—one in Turkey and two others in Belgium.
