Anderson men to be charged with armed robbery

Two days after an armed robbery in Clemson, two Anderson men are in jail. The Clemson police say the two men—41-year old Ceaser Lamont Hunter and 32-year old Ron Jermain Curry—will face charges of armed robbery at the Sunoco Convenience Store around 8 a-m Saturday o n highway 76. As the robbers entered the store, they covered their faces with masks and the store clerk locked himself in the office. As one of the robbers held a pistol pointed at the office door, the other robber took an undetermined amount of cash from the register. The police say the robbers left in a vehicle that turned out to have been stolen in Anderson County. They were found in the area of Tri-County Tech where, according to the police, they tried to hide the stolen vehicle.
