Anglers hit the lake this morning

Fifty four (54) college teams from across the nation took to the waters of Lake Keowee this morning for day one of the FLW College National Championship hosted by the Mountain Lakes CVB. Weigh-ins for day one and day two will begin at 3:30 pm today at South Cove County Park. Day three weigh-ins and the crowning of the National Champion will take place at Green Pond landing on Lake Hartwell along with the FLW Tour Pro weigh in Saturday. The public is invited to attend each day. Local teams participating this week include the Clemson Tigers, South Carolina Gamecocks and the Western Carolina Catamounts.
