Apartment resident helps deputy effect arrest

At a complex of homes and apartments, populated by Clemson students, a resident came to the aid of an Oconee deputy sheriff as he tried to defuse a gun possession incident.  And the Oconee Sheriff’s Office this week recognized the Samaritan.  Sheriff Mike Crenshaw called the help given by Shea Doonan to his officer March 10 an example of his administration’s commitment to build partnerships toward a safer community.  As the result of this incident in the parking lot of the Pier residential development near Clemson, the deputy ordered Bradley Stephens Krall to drop the gun he held.  According to the Sheriff’s Office, the 23-year old Krall ran, but dropped the gun when he fell.  The deputy secured the fully-loaded gun and received help from Doonan until a second deputy arrived.  Krall was charged with public disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and pointing and presenting a firearm at a person.
