Arrest in one month old theft case

The charge of grand larceny has been placed against a 19-year old Oconee County man arrested in a one-month old investigation. The man arrested, Michael Andrew Poole Jr., of Owens Road, Seneca, was lodged in the Oconee Detention Center yesterday. Since March 31, sheriff’s officers have been investigating the theft of a pickup truck and boat trailer containing a pistol and three shotguns. The crime scene was a boat landing off Coneross Creek Road.
