Arrest made in home burglary near Seneca

Oconee Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in a case last week of home burglary, in which the intruder kicked in the front door and took guns and technology items. By yesterday afternoon, Gary Landon Medlin of Evergreen Circle, Seneca remained in jail on charges of burglary first degree and grand larceny. Medlin is 35 years old. The crime was reported at 847 Shannon Circle, Seneca. Witnesses were quoted as saying they saw a grey mini-van at the crime scene. And, according to Sheriff’s spokesman Jimmy Watt, the guns and some of the other stolen property have been recovered.
