Arrest made in thefts on Clemson campus

Campus police at Clemson have arrested an Anderson woman on charges arising from thefts of personal property from two university buildings.  Shawanna Christina Wright was charged Monday with three felony counts of financial transaction card theft, six misdemeanor petty larceny counts, and trespassing after notice.  The 26-year old Wright is neither a Clemson student, nor employee.  Police say debit and credit cards, cash, an iPhone, an iPad Mini and external computer hard drive were taken from offices or book bags in Strode Tower and Rhodes Hall December 10.  Wright’s bond was set at $28,250 and she was released to custody of the Anderson Police Department.
