Arrest made in truck break-in

Within days of the crime, the Seneca police have made an arrest in their investigation of a break-in April 19 to a pickup truck. The police have charged a 19-year old man, Demarcus Shawntez Taylor, with receiving stolen goods. The police investigated a report of a break-in to a Ford F-350 in which a laptop and a wallet were taken. The police traced the computer to a pawn shop. An arrest affidavit accused Taylor of possessing a laptop computer “knowing that said property was stolen.” The victim reported the recovery of his wallet, minus a credit card. And the missing credit card is the subject of a further police investigation.
