Arrest made in Utica shooting

A 20-year old Seneca man turned himself over to authorities yesterday to face multiple charges arising from a weekend shooting in the Utica community. No one was hurt Saturday morning at a home on Jameson Avenue but, according to Oconee Sheriff’s Office, four people, including two children, were inside the home. Warrants charge Travis Javon Lee with attempted murder, discharging a firearm into a dwelling, malicious injury to personal property, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. After shots were fired into the home, damage was inflicted to three vehicles parked in the yard.
