Arrest made on Davis Mill Road

A driver found slumped over a vehicle stopped in the middle of a road near Seneca led the Oconee Sheriff’s Department to file charges alleging drug and gun violations. Law enforcement reports reveal Richard Estee Nicholson was discovered around 5:30 Saturday morning inside a vehicle stopped on the Davis Creek Road at Ravenel Elementary School. Officers say they confiscated plastic baggies contained suspected illegal substances and a loaded Taurus .41 Magnum revolver. The 52-year old Nicholson was charged with unlawful carrying of pistol and drug trafficking.
