Arrests made at scene of car dealership crime

Two men have been arrested at a car dealership crime scene in Oconee County. The men were arrested shortly before 3:15 Saturday morning at Lake Keowee Chrysler Dodge after a deputy sheriff found a broken passenger window in a Dodge Challenger and one of the two men in the backseat of the car. Law enforcement reports show that John Michael Watkins Jr., 18, of N. Horseshoe Bridge Road, Westminster and Jacob Adam Duvall, 18, of Elberton, Georgia were arrested and charged with breaking into a motor vehicle and malicious injury to personal property. According to an incident report, one of the men told the deputy that he was homeless and looking for a place to sleep.
