Oconee joblessness rises to 4.1%

Rain gauges fill

Two days of rain boosted Oconee’s official measurement to almost six inches for far in 2017.  The Walhalla weather observer, Barbara Wilson, recorded 1.40″ yesterday and 1.08″ Saturday.  Her records reflect a storm in the area during a three-hour period Sunday night.
