Two people were hurt last night in a rural Oconee County car accident.  The wreck around 9:30 last night involved two cars at SC 11 and the Country Junction Road.  According to a Walhalla Fire Department report, the injured were sent to hospitals — one of the patients went to a Greenville hospital.

The South Carolina DOT is making plans to replace a rural Pickens County bridge.  And the state agency invites public comment on the project for a new bridge on SC 8 over the Oolenoy River.  All comments received between now and May 17 will be reviewed and included in the project record.
