Fire burned a camper last night in southern Oconee County.  The Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department received the call around 8 o’clock to put out a fire in a camper on highway 59.  According to Rural Fire Control, no one was hurt.

Part of SC 28, Blue Ridge Boulevard, is blocked at this hour–the result of a car accident.  According to the highway patrol, there are injuries at the Halfway Branch wreck scene.  The accident is believed to have happened just before 3 pm.
