By yesterday, 1,800 Seneca meters out of service

By yesterday, there were roughly 1,500 meters throughout the Seneca power territory still out of service.  Crews yesterday were re-building circuits on S. 6th, Holland Ave., Utica area, Adams subdivision, and elsewhere in the system.  By Friday, which will be April 24, Light and Water expects to have 95% of the primary circuits re-established.

Saturday’s South Carolina DHEC report

Oconee and Pickens counties on Saturday each added two new cases of COVID-19.  Seven were added to Anderson’s total. Oconee schools make announcement

Distance learning for Oconee public school children resumes Monday.  Families without power should reach out to a teacher or principal and the schools will extend grace and flexibility through their outage.  Student meals will continue to be offered Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at all schools, as well as at several locations countywide.  Classrooms remain closed through April 30.
