Shooting in the Utica Community

One person was wounded by gunfire late yesterday afternoon in the Utica Community near Seneca.  Deputies were called shortly after 5 o’clock to an address on Utica’s “D” Street.  An airlift was arranged to fly the wounded for medical treatment.  An investigation was in progress.  By late last night, the sheriff’s spokesman had nothing further to report.
