During two days of rain, more than 5.5″ inches were measured by the U-S Official Weather Observer in Walhalla.  Weather watcher Barbara Wilson reports the most significant part of that rainfall, nearly three-inches, fell during a five-hour period from 7 am yesterday to 12 noon.

Leaders of Westminster will consider undertaking a conceptual plan for their city.  In a rare Friday meeting, the city council is scheduled to discuss a proposed agreement with Seamon Whitesides Inc. to develop a plan and then go into executive session to discuss a contract matter.
