Two-day rain event totals

During two days of rain, more than 5.5″ inches were measured by the U-S Official Weather Observer in Walhalla.  Weather watcher Barbara Wilson reports the most significant part of that rainfall, nearly three-inches, fell during a five-hour period from 7 am yesterday to 12 noon.
