Car-deer accident in Seneca

A car driver in Seneca was startled when a deer ran out of the woods and slammed into the side of her Mazda van.  The accident occurred at 7:55 this morning at WS 4th and Perkins Creek Road.  No one in the van was hurt, but the police say the deer became incapacitated and had to be euthanized.

New storm pipe work at Walhalla intersection

Thrift Development is starting work this week on a project to improve a Walhalla intersection—S. College and E-S Broad streets. To eliminate a flood-prone intersection, Thrift crews are to re-habilitate about 500 linear feet of existing storm pipe.
