A young Oconee County man was arrested during the Christmas week and charged with ill treatment of animals. According to a warrant issued by Magistrate Daniel Pollock, Joshua Daniel Marshall is accused of stabbing a dog two times in the stomach, resulting in the dog’s death. A news correction

According to a 101.7/WGOG story post and aired version, the Army Corps of Engineers planned to implement an $835 revised administrative fee beginning January 1, 2020.  That story was incorrect, and we regret the error.  A spokesman for the U-S Army Corps of Engineers in Savannah, Georgia said the plans for the increase, announced last June, are “on hold.”
