Special city council meeting starts at noon

Why does the city council in Clemson need to go into special session the day after Christmas?  The answer is a special meeting is needed to amend the city’s construction budget to build the Littlejohn Community Center project.  The bids for that project exceeded the anticipated cost of construction.  Today’s meeting will start at noon at the city hall.
