Authorities say there were injuries in a two-vehicle crash shortly before 9:30 last night at 123 and Carson Road near Seneca.  It’s believed one person required a trip for treatment at a Greenville hospital. The traffic light intersection remained an active accident investigation and clean up scene for about an hour and a half.

A former Ohio man was sentenced in the General Sessions Court at Walhalla this afternoon to 14 years in prison for the crime of criminal sexual conduct with a minor second degree. Former Blue Ridge, Georgia resident Darcy Arnall arrived this week as the new children’s public librarian in Oconee County.  Arnall’s first day on her new job was Monday.  She has six years’ library experience, including manager of children’s services at the Fannin County, Georgia Public Library.
