Additional arrests made

New arrests are reported in the eighth “Operation Infinity” drug sweep launched last week by the Oconee Sheriff’s Office. Between midnight Friday and midnight last night, six new arrests were made. That makes 17 arrests since the sweep started last Thursday. The Sheriff’s Office seeks nine more individuals.

Bomb threat on the Clemson campus

An all-clear has been given this morning at Clemson University. The police investigated a bomb threat at Brackett Hall, and the building evacuated. But moments ago, a university spokesman said nothing was found. And the all-clear means normal activities may be resumed.
