Seneca man held in Walhalla homicide case

Tim Rice, the Walhalla police chief, announces that a 19-year-old Seneca man, Gilbert Nava, is being held in jail on a temporary custody order as the investigation continues into the homicide last night of a 54-year old Walhalla woman, Cruz Cantero-Rojas, at her 303 Pitchford Street home.    Authorities say Cantero-Rojas died of blunt-force head trauma.  An autopsy is tomorrow.  […]
