Third man charged with murder

A third man has been charged with murder in Oconee County, and the Sheriff’s Office investigation into the death of Richard Alan Marszalek continues. Fire damages Westminster home

Fire late yesterday morning damaged a home in Westminster. Chief Chris Smith says the fire damaged a corner of the home at 110 Cornelia Avenue. Smith classified what happened as an accidental fire. No one hurt.
