Clemson street to be closed Sunday

Part of SC 93 to Keith Street in Clemson will be closed Sunday.  According to city hall, the street crew will paint streets in the downtown from around 5 am to 11 am.  “We apologize for the late notice but weather complications have made choosing dates tricky,” according to city.  Have questions?  Call 864/653-2053.

$1 million sewer project near Walhalla

July home burglary leads to arrest

The police in Westminster arrested a 22-year old Oconeean in the investigation of a home burglary.  Law enforcement records yesterday showed Austin Lee Goins of Shook Road, Seneca arrested and charged with petty larceny and first degree burglary.  Goins is accused of stealing jewelry, including a man’s wedding ring, from a home on McNair Drive, Westminster July 21.
