Westminster planning commissioners are to consider a pair of zoning changes during their 6 o’clock meeting tomorrow evening at the Westminster Train Depot.  Jonathan Terry has applied to change from Residential-25 to MFR–Multi-Family Residential at 104 Highlands Avenue; and the city of Westminster seeks a Multi-Family Residential classification at 115 Riley Street.

Environmental services workers at Prisma Health hospitals, including Oconee Memorial, face permanent layoffs as Prisma transitions to a new company providing hospital cleaning work, according to a state list of dislocated workers.  Potentially affected by permanent layoffs are 41 Oconee Memorial workers. Dan Suddeth will call to order a meeting of the Oconee Aeronautics Commission.  That meeting will be 5:30 Thursday evening at the airport, where the commissioners, among other business, will select new officers, including a chairman, a vice chairman, and a secretary.

The July meeting of Walhalla City Council will be 5:30 tomorrow evening at city hall.  On the agenda:  contract for a building official; the approval of a memorandum of understanding with Main Street Walhalla; and repairs to a sanitation truck.

A 39-year old Oconee woman has been located and, according to the Westminster police chief, she is safe.  Authorities have called off their missing person alert for Valerie Poole.
