Pedestrian fatality was a 19-month old boy

A Father’s Day weekend tragedy on the grounds of Devil’s Fork State Park at Lake Jocassee.  The coroner says the accident took the life of Benny Esquivel, a 19-month old Asheville, North Carolina boy.  Investigators say around 1:45 Saturday afternoon Benny ran in front of a Jeep Wrangler and died within a half hour at the scene.   Information received by […]
