A car, believed to have been driven by a student on the way to school, skidded this morning across Walhalla’s N. Red Cross assistance to fire victims

Red Cross assistance was requested this morning for a family of five whose home caught fire at Mountain Rest.  Needing help were two adults and three children as the result of a fire on the Chattooga Lake Road.  During the midnight hour, Seneca fire fighters and others were called to a structure fire on the Owens Road.
