Fatal motorcycle accident near Salem

A motorcycle left N. Highway 11 last night, struck a ditch and overturned.  The coroner and the highway patrol report the accident at 11 and SC 130/Whitewater Falls Road took the life of the motorcycle operator.  Coroner Addis identified the deceased as James Richard Reid, 70, of Salem.  The accident was reported to 9-1-1 just before 9 o’clock.
