A Seneca police operation this morning south of the railroad not far from the middle school. Chief Bowling says a narcotics search warrant was executed at 9 this morning at a home on Tamarack Drive near WS 4th Street. As a result, the police say, they have detained suspects.

Repairs to a bridge are creating a detour for thru traffic on the Clearmont Road near Westminster. Local traffic may enter, but part of Clearmont Road from Mountain Road to W. North Avenue, Westminster is closed. According to the DOT, repairs are underway to the Clearmont Road bridge over Colonel’s Fork Creek.

A 62 year-old Seneca man died Wednesday night shortly after 7 pm from a gunshot injury which occurred outside his apartment at 1021 East South Second Street, Seneca.
