Pickens County man sent to prison

The Greenville-Pickens solicitor today announced that a judge has sent a Pickens County man to prison for 12 years after being convicted of committing or attempting lewd act on a child. Library projects rate a 40

The package of library improvements countywide have rated 40.1%, according to a ranking assigned today by the Oconee Capital Project Advisory Committee. 8,300 tickets sold!

The count is not final. But City Administrator Greg Dietterick says at least 8,300 tickets were sold for the Charlie Daniels concert Saturday night in Seneca. Tickets were priced at $5 dollars for the concert portions of Seneca’s 2013 Memorial Day celebration at Gignilliat Field.
