Families in need are being helped at Thanksgiving time

On this holiday week, all Oconee County recycle centers will operate tomorrow (Wednesday). Chrisleys sentenced

The reality TV stars from Westminster have been sentenced to prison.  Accounts of news outlets show Todd Chrisley’s sentence is 12 years in federal prison; his wife, Julie Chrisley, sentenced to seven years.  The couple star in “Chrisleys Know  Best” but they were found guilty of conspiring to defraud community banks out of more than $30 million in fraudulent loans.

Illicit drug use deaths in Anderson

Two people have died in Anderson.  Two others are in hospital.  The county coroner says authorities went to a home around 2 Sunday morning in Anderson County, in response to a drug overdose call.
