Westminster to work on zoning tomorrow

The members of Westminster City Council and the city’s planning commission are to assemble at 4 o’clock tomorrow afternoon for a work session on zoning.  There’s to be discussion on amendments to the city’s zoning law, led by the Charleston-based Wetmore Law Firm.  That group of lawyers offers services in the areas of zoning, land use, and property law.

Water line trouble near county park

The Chau Ram County Park near Westminster will close temporarily Thursday morning to allow Westminster to repair a water line on the road leading to the park.  As soon as the repairs are completed, and it is safe to do so, the county Parks, Recreation and Tourism will re-open the park.  Questions may be directed to the park office 864/647-9286.
