Month of June gets wetter

Searing heat last summer. But with summer approaching this year, it’s getting harder to simply dry out. The Walhalla area got hit with a hard rain overnight, adding 1.1″ to June’s running count, with the month a little more than half over. So far, Weather Observer Barbara Wilson reports, June’s rainfall is approaching 9″.
