Announcement to come from U-S rep’s office

Emily Wood, news secretary for U-S Rep. Jeff Duncan says the office of the 3rd District representative will make an announcement today, and that announcement–101.7/WGOG NEWS has learned–is that a group of U-S lawmakers will make a visit Thursday to the Oconee Nuclear Station.  It’ll come at a time when Duke Energy seeks a second re-licensing of its three-reactor complex.
