No one was inside a house that caught fire last night near Walhalla.  The fire occurred on Hope Drive–behind Turning Point Church of God on South Carolina 11.  A Walhalla fireman told 96.3/WGOG NEWS he doesn’t know why the fire started, but its origin was the living room of the house.  Moderate damage was reported. Arrests made in high school building site theft

Another instance of thievery has taken place at the construction site for the new Walhalla High School. This time, however, the law captured and arrested two suspects. A car, a van and a pickup truck collided early yesterday afternoon near Seneca.
