Vandalism/graffiti arrest in Walhalla

A case of vandalism at a Walhalla apartment complex and an arrest.  Law enforcement records show Chloe Brooke Paul, 36 years old, was arrested and charged with vandalism/illegal graffiti after the police late last Thursday night investigated graffiti on the door to the front office of Highland Glen apartments.

Broken electric poles in and around Salem

Today alone, 280 metered Blue Ridge Electric locations in and around Salem have been restored to service.  By midday, 421 Co-Op customers were awaiting re-connection.  Workers counted 68 broken, wood poles, most within the same area.  With 300 operations employees on the job, Blue Ridge expects power to be restored to all customers by tonight.
